After a family outing, my husband and I discussed the behavior of the tweens and teens in the group. A thirteen-year-old young woman dressed so scantily that it sent a message of sexual immorality to onlookers. A fourteen-year-old young man spoke to his parents with profane language and temper. We wanted them to learn to make better choices, develop more grace, and respect their parents. Don suggested that I write some Christian fiction for them, and that's how The Faith Series of books was born.
The three-generation Christian family lives on a little ranch in Wailua, Kauai. The young horseback fellowship struggles with humanness and faces new sets of challenges and choices, as they grow older. The stories are adventurous, laughable, thoughtful, soul enhancing, beloved, and sometimes hazardous, but always engaging.
As my family and friends purchased the books for their young people, they discovered that they all enjoyed reading the stories, and we hope that you will, too.

Peggy grew up on a large dairy farm in Farmington, Minnesota. As a young woman, she rode the countryside on her majestic American Saddlebred, Blaze King. Peggy Lee is a singer, pianist, composer, arranger, lyricist, and fiction writer.
Headlund formerly owned and operated a nationwide consulting company for the financial industry. Mrs. Headlund has written hundreds of scholastic, business, and motivational books for colleges and corporations.
Peggy is working on three series of faith-based fiction novels. Peggy and Don, her husband for over 28 years, first met on a beach in Hawaii. They've been back to visit over forty-five times. Currently, they live in Calabasas, California with their two West Highland White Terriers, Daisy Lou and Macgregor.
